Believe it or not our holiday process starts in January! We head to market and shop all things Christmas. Then by June all the goods start to ship.
Now, in early October we have received all the holiday inventory, unpacked it and priced it and we begin to photograph and think thru the displays in each location.
We were down in the New Canaan basement sorting one of our vendor's holiday goods between the 3 shops when Bettina held a wreath against the wood painted door that leads outside to the back parking lot. The light was good, really good so we decided to photograph each piece. Sometimes you just gotta role with it!
